Cookie Notice
Last updated: July 12, 2026
This notice explains how Orentia uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit app.orentia.ca or use our application. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use browser local storage for preferences. Some technologies are essential for the Service to function; others help us understand errors and performance.
Essential cookies and storage
These are required to operate the Service and cannot be disabled while you are signed in:
- Authentication session cookies from our identity provider (Supabase) to keep you signed in securely.
- Security-related tokens that protect your account and API requests.
- Local storage for theme, onboarding progress, and in-app preferences you choose.
Performance and error monitoring
We use Sentry to collect error reports, stack traces, and performance data when something goes wrong. This helps us fix bugs quickly. Sentry may set cookies or use similar identifiers. Data is used for reliability, not advertising.
Your choices
When you first visit, we show a banner explaining cookies with a link to this page. Clicking "Got it" records that you have read the notice. Essential cookies remain necessary for sign-in regardless of that choice.
You can clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and reset local preferences.
Third-party cookies
Our hosting and monitoring providers may process technical identifiers as part of delivering the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the application.
